MANAV RACHNA UNIVERSITY is a private university established in the city of Faridabad in Haryana. MRU was established in the year 2004 and has been duly recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’. The quality education and innovation in the higher studies of MRU have now been affirmed by the NIRF India rankings 2023, which placed the university at the 55th rank. It has several faculties providing undergraduate & postgraduate programmes in engineering, management, applied sciences, Computer applications, Commerce, Economics and humanities. MRU is well equipped with all facilities and modern infrastructure and has well-equipped laboratories for practical knowledge.

MRU provides the following bachelor’s programs like; Business Technology (B. Tech), Science (B. Sc), Business Administration (BBA), Arts (BA), Commerce (BCom) and integrated master’s programs such as; Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), Business Administration (MBA), Arts (MA), and Commerce (MCom). To become part of the programs that will commence in 2024, admission will start in November 2023. The admission is on merit basis and the candidates can apply through MRU entrance test (MRUEEE) or other national examinations like JEE Main, GATE, CMAT etc. MRUEEE and other examination will be held in the month of April and May 2024 respectively and the result will be declared in the month of June 2024. To note, for merit-based admission, MRU also looks at performance in class 12 th. The admission will be open up to the academic year 2024- 25 and the last date will be August 2024.

It is noteworthy that MRU has good placement records because the institution fosters a good relationship with the industry. Through its placement cell, MRU has developed tie-ups with over 500 reputed companies hailing from IT, consulting, manufacturing, BFSI and FMCG sectors including Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Sapient, Maruti, Saint Gobain, Berger, Cap Gemini, Deloitte and E&Y who have offered jobs to students of MRU. The median salary from the packages has been approximately 6 LPA and the highest package of 45 LPA has been offered. The percentage of batches has been placed as per the eligibility norms where 85% of students have got placed with the highest package touching 45 LPA. The maximum salary package was Rs. 43.5 lakh per annum provided by Microsoft during the placements. Engineering branches offered a highest salary package of Rs 6.8 lakhs per annum. In conclusion, the campus placement stood at 90% of the eligible students with various programs offered in the college like engineering, business administration and computer applications were selected by reputed companies like Tech Mahindra, HCL and HDFC Bank and many more.
