The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow or IIIT-L) is a centrally funded autonomous institute, dreamt and implemented under the Public Private Partnership model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India and that of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2015. - For BTech programs: Admission: B. Sc. Nursing - Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Qualified JEE Main exam.
- For MTech programs: 3-year degree in appropriate Engineering/Technology branch and minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST )from recognized technical institute or university. Needless to say, you must definitely have your GATE qualification but you can still apply even if you have not cleared this competitive exam.
- For PhD programs: Degree in engineering/ technology from school recognized by knowledge institution or university with mark minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST). That is, you should achieve the GATE mark or else, go for the equivalent of UGC/CSIR-NET/NBHM or similar test.
- For MBA program: Bachelor’s degree with minimum marks of 60 % (55 % of SC/ST). Valid CAT/MAT score required.
- For Accelerated BTech programs (Lateral entry): Obtained first division in passed diploma examinations with 60% marks (55% marks for those belonging to SC/ST category) with appropriate branch of engineering and technology.
IIIT, Lucknow, Indian Institute of Information Technology has the undergraduate, postgraduate, and the doctoral programs in the I.T related field. - For the Dual Degree BTech-MTech courses, admissions are taken on the score in JEE Main Paper 1 Score in addition to performance in the interview conducted by IIIT Lucknow.
- Also, in case of MTech admissions, only those are eligible who hold GATE score. Those, who were invited for another round of the interview, face an interview afterward.
- Application form is released on the institute's website at https://www.institute.com/admission/ Students would be required to affix and submit it prior the last date alongside the application fee.
- Class rooms seats are assign on basis of merit, availability and reservation rules of respective college. Final seat allotment, when they occur, compromise the entire admission process.
- The selected candidates who complete the process by verifying documents and paying the admission fee within the set time limit are the ones who will make it in.
