The Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering is one of the prime Engineering Institutes of India which was established more than 74 years back in 1941. DTU was founded in 1941 and has grown to become a leading technological hub and a provider of Bachelor and Master Degrees in engineering, technology, natural sciences and management.
DTU wants to the circle of the global technologic universities as an institution which stands out by its excellence in education, research, and innovations. Delhi Technological University Eligibility Criteria 2024
1. Educational Qualification: The applicants should have obtained past results of 10+2 or an equivalent exam at least by 60% (55% for SC/ST) in physics, chemistry, and mathematics together.
2. Entrance Exams: Btech programs are based on JEE Main scores for many students. Others like BArch or NATA score for example, are considered too
3. Age Limit: There is nonexistent minimum age limit for admissions. But SC/ST/PwD candidates have relaxation for 5 years in age limit than other reserved classes.
4. Subjects Required: 10 +2 degrees in physics, chemistry and math are mandatory for most of the BTech programs. Adding mandates such as computer science/biology, may be applicable to certain programs as well.
5. Percentile Requirement: Cut off score selection depend on the branch and varies between 81 to 94 cut off of JEE main .

Delhi Technological University Admission Process 2024
1. Entrance to BTech and MTech courses at DTU are majorly considered on the basis of scores in exams like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and GATE or PGATE.
2. In other to gain admittance into B.Tech programs - Students must score well in JEE Mains examination. In addition to JEE Mains, they also have to register and participate in JEE Advanced which is allocated to booked ranks. The final list of merit and seating will be assigned according to one's JEE Advanced rank.
3. Students should take the GATE exam to pursue an M.Tech in a college. Admissions are done according to the obtained GATE scores and the succeeded written and/or interview round of DTU.
4. For the other undergraduate programs like BBA, BArch, BDes, B.Sc ( applied physics, chemistry, mathematics, polymer science) the admission is through the DU CET entrance exam or the ranks of the qualifying examination.
5. For postgraduate programs, preferably MBA, MDes and MSc programs, the admission is done through Putting importance on the marks in qualification degree or on the marks in examinations like CAT/MAT/DTU entrance test. The GE Project has the candidates’ going through another round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
