DNB PDCET is the diploma national board post diploma centralized entrance test conducted by the National Board of Examinations for the admission into various post diploma DNB courses. The exam is taken so as to enable candidates who have already obtained their postgraduate diploma in medical sciences to enroll in DNB broad speciality programs in teaching hospitals and medical colleges in India.
The DNB PDCET 2024 exams will be conducted on the 20th of August, 2023. The registration process, as noted earlier, is normally initiated about 3-4 months before the specific examination. The exam shall be a computer based test that will take place in different centres within the country. The exams offered include those on anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology and preventative social medicine and will be in accordance to post diploma level curriculum. The examination results are released within one month after the examination is conducted. Candidates who have been issued the rank cards have to appear for the online counselling process for obtaining the seat.

1. Check Eligibility - First, you need to confirm that you are eligible to write the examination according to NBE’s standards. This entails, among others, the completion of your postgraduate diploma in the said wide specialty.
2. Registration & Application - When you become eligible you have to start with creating a profile on the official website of NBE and then apply for DNB PDCET when the link for the online application form gets activate. Provide all required details.
3. Upload Documents - After filling the form, the candidates are required to attach scanned copies of the documents like diploma certificates, ID proof, etc in accordance with the given specifications.
4. Pay Exam Fee - Those who are writing the exams should pay the exam fee online through credit/debit card or net banking or UPI or anything like that and confirm the receipt.
5. Download Admit Card - Today is the day before examination, download your DNB PDCET admit card from official website of NBE using your login ID and password.
6. Appear for Exam - Last of all, sit for DNB PDCET on the scheduled date at the examination center mentioned along with admit card and a valid photo identification document.
1. Admit card of Primary DNB/DrNB qualification final examination: As for the primary DNB/DrNB qualification final examination, the scanned copy of the admit card also must be uploaded.
2. Degree/Provisional certificate: You should also submit scanned images of the following documents: degree/provisional certificate – of the primary DNB/DrNB qualification. This should have the date of when he started the course and the date of when he complete the course.
3. Permanent Registration certificate: You should provide a scanned copy of permanent registration certificate which has been provided by the National Medical Commission (formerly known as MCI) or the State Medical Council.
4. Proof of training completion: You must submit a scanned copy of the certificate provided by the Head of the Institute which should affirm that you have served the duration of post-diploma training as specified in the said broad specialty.
5. Internship completion certificate: To match the requirement, you must scan and upload certificate provided by the Head of the Institute confirming internship completion.
6. Valid ID proof: You have to scan a copy of any of the Government issued photo id proof which are Aadhar Driving License PAN Card Voters Id Pass-port.
